This past November, four Georgian Court students took part in the interviews of six different Sisters of Mercy from the Mid-Atlantic region. These interviews were conducted as a part of Saint Catherine University’s National Catholic Sister Week, a campaign that brings awareness to the lives of Catholic Sisters. The interviews were recorded and transcribed, in order to be included in an international online database.
In order to continue with this effort, Georgian Court will be hosting a dinner with a number of Sisters of Mercy that select students will be invited to attend. This dinner will include a panel made up of these students and sisters, who will be recounting their personal experiences with the project.
The dinner will take place this Friday, March 13, to coincide with this year’s National Catholic Sisters Week.
